Today I will be talking about an entertainement that has replaced the love for sports within everyone to teenagers to adults. I will be talking about gaming, gaming is not just a pastime, but a thriving industry and a unique subculture. From immersive role-playing games to competitive esports, the world of gaming is diverse and continually evolving. I will discus about what gaming has brought to our world and what impact did it put on us.

The rise of gaming

Gaming is an entertainement that has developped from ancient times by us Homosapiens. We are gaming through different ways just to have fun. Let’s go back in the ancient times, the first type of gaming made is the board games. Most of the board games are played with a dice or multiple dices. Board games are populaire in various culture from ancient china to ancient greece. In the 6th centuary a board game orginated from india came to known all around the world and became a very strategic game and classic too which is chess. Then in the 9th centuary came another variant of board game orginated from china, Cards. This variant brought a new universe to gaming, with different card games you can play various games. Cards are used for simple gambling to complex strategies games. Mostly the board games are played beetween two or more people which provid social interactions. The revloution of gaming started in 20th centuary by the birth of video games. Video games made a great reveloution in gaming from boards to smart devices. In example: gaming consoles, gaming plateforms, vr gaming and more.

IMPACT ON THE WORLD

Gaming has improved so much from the ancient time to now. But how about us, has anything changed between us and gaming? In my opinion, a lot has change from playing for fun with friends and family in the real world and to playing for fun also to play in compteition in the virtual world. Let’s talk about today’s gaming world. Today’s gaming is mostly based on virtual world like video games. This kind of gaming has been made an addiction to most of the people because of the reason they are able to play it for hours and hours. Also because it makes people lazy and so they just stay in the same place for hours. But it doesn’t mean this kind of gaming is bad but instead of playing it for hours we should manage the time we spend on it. And sitting in front of the monitors for hours is not good for health. But there are also benefits of playing video games like the ability of situational awareness, estimating skills and many more.
